Onboarding Checklist

Day 1 Essentials

• Sign Digital Contract and NDA (sent via email).
• Receive IT equipment* and Welcome Kit.
• Meet your Team Leader for introductions.

*Equipment varies by role, but usually includes:

• Laptop, charger, mouse, keyboard, adapter, monitor, and work phone (if required).

Day 1 Essentials

• Install Office 365 → sign into OneDrive, Outlook, Teams.
• Sync OneDrive and SharePoint folders.
• Install Slack.
• Ask your Team Leader about any project‑specific software.

Equipment Care

• Keep devices clean, cool, and liquid‑free.
• Disconnect the charger overnight to protect battery life.
• Lost or damaged items must be replaced or repaired by the employee.

Work Schedule & Remote Guidelines

• Core hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00 – 18:00 with a 1‑hour lunch. Coordinate breaks with your manager.
• We run on trust—not a strict 9‑to‑5 punch clock. Communicate availability and deliver results.

Remote best practices:

• Keep a morning routine and dedicated workspace.
• Join daily stand‑ups on time (camera on when possible).
• Stay reachable for quick calls/huddles.
• Avoid TV and other distractions during work hours.

Payroll & Perks (Mexico‑based team)

Payroll

• Paid bi‑weekly (two payslips per month).

Time Off

• Vacation: 20 paid days per year from day one (request ≥ 2 weeks in advance).
• Public holidays: Mexican and U.S. calendars announced in Slack.
• Sick days & medical leave: Notify your manager + HR; doctor’s note may be required.
• Maternity leave: 6 weeks pre‑ + 6 weeks post‑birth (per Mexican labor law).
• Paternity leave: 5 paid days.
• Bereavement: Up to 4 days for close family.

Leaving Axented

• Please give ≥ 15 days’ notice so we can wrap up projects and begin off‑boarding.
• Return company equipment on or before your last day (shipping label provided if remote).
• Sign the resignation and termination letters—HR will guide you through the steps.
